His passion for serving the bereaved started when Ziqian first joined the profession when he was 13 years old. Since then, he has injected a new lease of life into this profession, usually perceived as outdated and a cultural taboo. Ziqian strongly believes in shaping attitudes and mindsets towards the topic of death and advocating for greater attention of this profession as an essential public service. As such in 2012 he founded the Ang Chin Moh Foundation, a platform whereby the profession can be further rejuvenated and fellow professionals, religious leaders and community and voluntary organisations brought together for a common good, and to advance the long term funerary needs of Singaporeans.
