Celebrating life and death through building your own coffin

Dozens of coffin clubs are emerging in New Zealand, where elderly can get together and build their own coffins for their eventual passing. Through this little pastime, elderly make new friends and such an activity is cost-savings and helps to combat loneliness. This ever-growing community now totals about 160 members in New Zealand, celebrating their lives as they are fully cognizant of their death.

新西兰正兴起许多俱乐部让老年人可以聚在一起为自己建造棺材。通过这种小小的消遣活动,老年人可以在这里结交新朋友。这样的活动可以节约成本,也有助于老年人克服孤独感。新西兰这个不断增长的社区活动现在总计约有160名成员,因为他们完全认识到他们将会面临死亡,他们赞颂现在的生活。
