国家环境局（NEA）打算引入设施增设花园葬的服务，为新加坡人提供多一种选择。这很可能是一个花园的概念。在指定的区域有不同的部分，一条铺着鹅卵石的土墩，可以把亲人的骨灰撒在上面、种植树木……, 为悲痛的家属在为亲人完成生命终结的过程时提供个人空间。
